How does Rewardz.Online work?

 

Rewardz.Online is an anonymous tip line and online bulletin/database for missing items, pets, and people. We made Rewardz.Online easy to use so you can find what you’re missing fast, and save lives with your anonymous tips. To create a post simply click on the “Buy A Posting” buttons or links on our website. There is a $2.95 charge for the listing PLUS 1% of the reward offered. This amount must be received before the listing will go live. Payment may be by credit card or PayPal. After you pay, your listing should be live within 24 hours. The listing will stay active for the length of time you selected on your Reward Entry Form, but cannot exceed one year. You may close the listing at any time by contacting us. Any responses from people viewing your listing will be routed to the email that you specified on the entry form. After the initial email, you can correspond with the person who contacted you about your listing directly. It’s that simple! When you use Rewardz.Online, you’ll find what you’re missing in no time!

How do I make a posting? 

 

Making a posting is simple. Click on “Buy Listing” and fill out the form that it leads to. The form will require your name, email, state, county, zip code, and city of occurrence, the type of listing (criminal or civil), the reward you’re offering, a title, details, and up to five pictures of the missing item or suspected crime. If I see a listing that I have knowledge of, what should I do?

 

If you see a posting that you have knowledge of, click on the button on the reward listing page to contact the original poster anonymously. After you send that initial message, you can start a dialog with the poster through an anonymous email.

What should I do if I see a crime being committed or have a suspicion? 

 

Rewardz.Online is an online database for missing items, but also functions as an anonymous tip line. However, if you or someone you know are in immediate danger, please do not make a posting with us. If you are in danger, please call 911. You can purchase one of our listings to anonymously tip bullying, harassment, abuse, drug issues, and safety concerns about your own life or the life of another person (e.g., suicide, self-injury, potential acts of violence). Rewardz.Online is a confidential and anonymous tip line that when used can save lives and help put an end to crime. Any information about a crime is useful for local authorities. When you are creating a post about crime it is helpful to include the following basic information: 

• A description of the crime or incident with as many details as you can remember. 

• The date of the crime or incident

 

As we mentioned, the more information you have the better. If you know any of the following, be sure to include it in your posting. 

• Name of suspect 

• Make, model, license plate, and/or color of a vehicle that may be involved (if known)

• Names of other individuals who may be involved

• Where suspect lives, works or can be found

 

Remember, if you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please do not create a posting and call 911 immediately.

How often can I post?

 

There is currently no limit to how much you can post. We don’t apply a limit to posting in case you witness two crimes in one night or want to post about multiple items that you are missing. 

 

Do my postings expire? 

 

Yes. Postings will expire after a year unless you renew them. To renew your postings, simply send us a message with your posting title and number. It only costs $2.95 to renew your post, a small price to pay to get back what’s important to you. 

 

What should I do if my pet is missing?

Postings for missing pets are one of our most popular postings on Rewardz.Online. A missing pet can lead to a stressful and traumatic experience. We recommend purchasing a listing after contacting your local animal shelter and animal control agencies. After you make your listing, continue to search your neighborhood and advertise locally through other services as well. The most important thing to do when your pet is missing is to not give up hope. There are stories of pets being reunited with their owners after months of being lost. To prevent your pet from being lost again, always make sure your pet is micro chipped and wears its collar and tag.
